Company C Dance Club offers recreational classes for dancers ages 3 & up. Our faculty will create a friendly and safe environment to provide your child with a fun, active, and creative dance experience.
Sparkle & Shine**:
Gems 3-4 Yr Old Combo Class – 1st to 2nd Year Dancers will Explore Movement in Ballet, and Jazz (Leotard and Tights or Jazz Outfit and Ballet Slippers)
Stars 4-5 Yr Old Combo Class – 2nd to 3rd Year Dancers will Explore Movement in Ballet, Jazz, and Tap (leotard and Tights or Jazz Outfit and Tap Shoes and Ballet Slippers)
Rubies 5-8 Yr Old Jazz/Tap Combo – 1st to 2nd Year Dancers will learn the Basics of Ballet, Jazz and Tap (Leotard and Tights or Jazz Outfit, Ballet Slippers and Tap Shoes)
Diamonds 7-10 Yr Old Jazz/Tap Combo – Beginning to Intermediate Dancers will learn the Foundation of Jazz and Tap Technique (Leotard and Tights or Jazz Outfit, Jazz Shoes, Tap Shoes)
Ages 9-13 Dancers will build on the foundation of Jazz technique (Jazz Outfit, Jazz Shoes)
Tap**- Beginner/Intermediate: Ages 9-13 Dancers will build on the foundation of Tap technique (Jazz Outfit, Tap Shoes)
Boys Hip Hop Ages 5-12 – No experience necessary – Free style incorporating today’s music (Comfortable clothing/clean street shoes or Hip Hop shoes)
Girls Beginner/Intermediate: Ages 9-13 – No experience necessary – Free style incorporating today’s music (Comfortable clothing/clean street shoes or Hip Hop shoes)
Tumbling – these classes do not take part in the Spring Recital
Tiny Tots: Ages 3 to 4 – No experience necessary.
Foundations: Ages - Classes will be split by ages (See schedule above) - An inclusive class of all skills acrobatic based on progressions and ability. Work is done in skill families so students may progress on their own terms instead of having to move classes or levels. Skills worked will be: rolls, handstands, bridges, limbers, walkovers, cartwheels, aerials, handsprings, head springs, tucks, flexibility, strength, and jump conditioning.
Handspring/Tuck: Ages 7 and Up - Focus on achieving handsprings, both front and back. Work will be focused on proper skill progressions, and conditioning. Skills covered will be: bridge, kick-over, walkover, handstands, round-offs, limbers, jumping conditioning, handsprings, handspring series, specialty handsprings, walkout handspring, gainer handsprings, whips and layout step-outs, back tucks and front tucks.
Aerials: Ages 7 and Up - Focus on achieving aerials, both front and side. Work will focus on proper skill progressions and conditioning. Skills covered in the class will be: splits, handstands, cartwheels, one arm cartwheels, front limbers, front walkovers, tinsicas, floating cartwheels, side aerials, front aerials, and jumping strength.
**Please note that if a class has less then 8 participants, this class may be cancelled. If, during the Winter/Spring Session, the class is not cancelled, it is not guaranteed to have a dance in the Spring Recital. This will be decided by the class teacher – classes may be combined by the teacher to create a dance.**
HOW TO REGISTER
INSTRUCTIONS TO REGISTER AS A NEW STUDENT
Our online registration portal gives our customers 24/7 access to reserving a spot in current classes (shown below). This also helps eliminate paper and data entry errors.
Fully complete the Student Registration/Emergency Form in its entirety. This form must be "signed" and dated by a parent or legal guardian.
An annual, non-refundable registration fee is payable at the time of registration.
We advise early registration as classes fill quickly.
CURRENT STUDENTS CAN REGISTER ONLINE
Once a family is registered with us, they can enroll in any group program through their portal on Jack Rabbit. The following are instructions for portal registrations if you do not already have a username and password.
The Customer Portal will ask for your username and password. Click on the "I don't know my password link below the sign in button.
You will then enter your email address (this must be the email address that we have on file for your family in jackrabbit). Once you do this, click on continue.
Check your email account. The password will be emailed from and has the subject as Company C Dance Company - Portal Password.
Once inside the customer portal you can change your password, update contact information, student's information, see what classes you are currently enrolled in, view the schools policies, and register for new classes.

Placement in classes is left to the discretion of Company C Instructors. If Company C Instructors feel that your dancer is placed incorrectly, we will adjust their class level. Our goal is to place students in the most appropriate classes where they will be able to gain knowledge and a strong dance foundation.
SPRING SHOW PARTICIPATION
Please note that if a class has less than 8 participants, this class may be cancelled. If, during the Winter/Spring Session, the class is not cancelled, it is not guaranteed to have a dance in the Spring Show. This will be decided by the class teacher - classes may be combined by the teacher to create a dance.
Teachers will keep track of attendance. There is no refund for missed classes. Dancers may be able to make up missed classes depending on class level and enrollment size.
We appreciate early arrival so that the students are mentally and physically prepared for their dance class. If a student arrives more than 10 minutes late, it is up to the discretion of the teacher if they are able to participate in the class. If late arrival is over 20 minutes, the dancer must sit and watch the class. If you have a specific function and must be late, please notify your teacher by e-mail.
Payments are due the 1st week of each semester.
Check payments should be placed in the payment box in the lobby of the studio. Credit card payments can be paid in your personal studio online portal.
Children's Classes are run in (2) 16-week semesters to complete the year.
Company C will not issue refunds if more than 1 class period has been attended. Tuition is not transferrable to another student or term. No credits to another term will be given.
FAMILY REGISTRATION FEE
A fee of $30 per family is required per year.
Siblings must be supervised at all times in the hallways. Please keep children quiet outside of the classrooms. Pilates and exercise equipment is not to be used as toys and is off limits.
Costume fees must be paid in full in order for the dancer to take the costume home.
